This week, I invite you to open your eyes of faith wide! God wants the very best for you. Even when you don’t see it, feel it, or hear it. Also, I’d like to remind you of what’s key for today, according to the Bible: “‘You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.’” (read John 15:16, NLT)
Maybe you doubt the Lord sometimes…However, Jesus knows that you’re going to produce fruit, because He has chosen you!
God “sowed” His Word to create the universe. Everything starts with a seed. If you live in the countryside, you may be fortunate to eat the produce from your garden. Before you could benefit from it, you had to first sow of course! This step must be taken under the best conditions: soil that’s well prepared, weeded, plowed, and watered.
The size of the grain, its color, and its texture don’t really matter…not as much as you might think. What counts is what’s inside, the potential “encapsulated” in the seed. However, like every seed, it has to be planted in good conditions in order to reveal its full essence.
It’s the same with your life. The most valuable thing is not what you see on the surface: your status, work, possessions, the place you live, etc. What really matters is what’s inside you: these “seeds” that the Creator God has sown in your land, placed in the depths of your heart.
What do you think these seeds are?
- What are your gifts?
- What are your talents?
- Do you have dreams?
For them to become visible, these gifts or talents have to be released from your land – in other words, “propelled” from your heart towards the outside. Once sown, they will produce fruit…a visible fruit that will bless others.
Then, remember that you glorify the Father in this: in bearing much fruit. That’s how you’ll be His disciple. Is this something you want? So, don’t wait any longer…release these gifts that God has put inside of you. Release your life potential!
