When we launch into a new project, we’re generally raring to go, ready to “move mountains” to make it happen. It’s a new challenge, and it’s exciting! Perhaps it’s a promotion, an addition to the house, having a child, etc…
The challenge is considerable, but no problem… you have “faith” and are feeling full of strength and energy to get it done. That’s fantastic! But… be sure to take the time to ask the Lord for His help and advice.
The Bible says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” (Proverbs 16:3, NIV)
I believe it’s crucial to develop the good habit of inviting God into all of our plans from day one, whatever they may be. First of all, to allow Him to confirm if the plans are actually coming from Him…and also so that we can receive His wisdom, advice, and help!
God absolutely loves to take ordinary people and use them to accomplish the extraordinary. But one of the prerequisites is walking hand-in-hand with Him.
Whatever your dream is, consult God first and foremost. He is the very best of counselors!
